Bae Ji-hwan and Kim Ha-seong [sports]

Bae Ji-hwan and Kim Ha-seong, who were kicked out for a protest of 'It's the third time today', made a big success with 3 hits in the 'Korean league confrontation' 토토

San Diego’s Kim Ha-seong hit 3 hits in a Korean major league match against Pittsburgh’s Bae Ji-hwan. Bae Ji-hwan scored an RBI with a sacrifice fly, but was ejected for protesting the referee's strike decision. Bae Ji-hwan's Pittsburgh won the game 9-4.

Kim Ha-seong started as the first hitter at second base in an away game held at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA on the morning of the 28th (Korean time) and made a big success with 3 hits and 2 RBIs in 5 at-bats. He raised his batting average to 0.258 and OPS to 0.748. Ha-seong Kim got a hit from his first at-bat in the first inning. He pulled an outside curveball after a 7-pitch win over Pittsburgh starter Rich Hill. However, the follow-up Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a double hit and failed to score.

In the second inning, the San Diego batting line swung hard, and Kim Ha-seong immediately went to bat for the second time. Ha-seong Kim hit a timely hit with a line drive with the second runner loaded. Two runners on second and third base hit home at once.

Kim Ha-seong struck out in the 5th inning, but came out as the lead batter in the 7th and hit his 3rd hit of the day. In the ninth, he retired on an infield grounder.

San Diego took a 3-0 lead early in the game with Kim Ha-sung's two RBIs and timely hits in the top of the second inning, but they couldn't keep the lead for long. In the bottom of the second inning, he allowed three runs and tied the game. Pittsburgh second baseman Bae Ji-hwan, who started as the 7th batter, scored an RBI with a sacrifice fly from the first at-bat with 1st and 3rd base unscathed in the second inning, giving the team their first run. Pittsburgh managed to turn around with two runs in the bottom of the third. They added 2 points and 1 point each in the 6th and 7th innings, resulting in a 9-4 come-from-behind victory.

Bae Ji-hwan was ejected after protesting the referee's strike decision in the fourth at-bat at the end of the sixth inning. When the strike was judged on a fast ball that came deep into the body on the second pitch, Bae Ji-hwan spread three fingers and expressed his dissatisfaction to the referee. It meant that the third questionable decision had already been made today. Previously, at the end of the third inning, Bae Ji-hwan’s second at-bat, the referee judged the second high ball as a strike. At the end of the 5th inning, in the 3rd at-bat, the 3rd high ball was judged as a strike. According to the referee's decision, Bae Ji-hwan had to swing his bat at a high ball out of the zone in both at-bats. He struck out on a swing in the bottom of the 3rd inning and was fouled out in the bottom of the 5th.

When Bae Ji-hwan showed dissatisfaction, the referee immediately ordered him to leave. Pittsburgh coach Derek Shelton came out of the dugout to stop Bae Ji-hwan. Tucupita Marcano came on as a pinch hitter and struck out.
